Our Approach

We believe in quality over quantity at CVI Academy. Our Cardiac Sonographer training program is an accelerated, rigorous program that focuses on empowering students to:

  • Think critically

  • Persevere through demanding workloads

  • Gain confidence in their skills

  • Focus on quality care by treating every patient like a member of their own family

Our Program

Within 9 months students will take their Echocardiogram Exam and become certified Cardiac Sonographers. The program is a rigorous, accelerated program where students pick up a probe, or transducer, on day one. Students are taught medical terminology, cardiac pathologies, patient care, and ultrasound physics.

The program is challenging and not for everyone, but with perseverance and grit, students will learn critical thinking skills, how to treat every patient as family, and the ins and outs of being a knowledgable, professional, and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer.
